Cookies and trackers
What is a tracker?
A cookie or tracker is a small piece of information stored by your browser when you visit a site. Some are essential for the site to work; others can only be used with your consent.
Trackers used
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Remembering your choice | Remember for 6 months whether you accepted or refused (browser local storage). | Not required (essential) |
| Account session (if signed in) | Keep you signed in and add your tracking code to partner links, if you agreed (browser local storage). | Not required (needed for the service you asked for) |
| Affiliate (Travelpayouts and partners) | Attribute bookings made through our links to the site, and display partner search engines (flights, hotels, cars…). | Required |
What if I refuse?
The site works normally. Partner search engines are not displayed, but simple links remain available. When you click a partner link, you land on that partner’s site, which will ask for your own consent under its rules.
How long is my choice kept?
Your choice is kept for 6 months. After that, the banner will be shown again. You can also delete the site’s data in your browser settings.
